Who am I??

Hi, I’m Nick — the hands, heart, and imagination behind Alien Paisley Jewelry.

Based just outside of Kansas City, Missouri, I started making jewelry in 2023 with some simple wire wraps and quickly had scraps start to pile up. I taught myself to melt down and recycle my precious metal scraps into differently shaped wired and bars. Right away I realized that there is a ton to learn and more importantly, there is something here that I can get a little better at every day. I am still learning enthusiastically and diving into full fabrication. Now, I work primarily with tarnish-resistant Argentium (.945 silver) for fabrication, as well as mixed-metal for some of my wire wraps.

Alien Paisley became a real business in May 2025, the name was born during a conversation with a friend about one of my designs. I said, “I think it’s got an alien-paisley kind of look.” Alliteration is catchy and those words just stuck in my head.

As my bucket of scraps gets smaller, and my knowledge grows, more and more unique jewelry pieces will fill up these pages. Thanks for coming.
